How do i switch a channel

Simply click on the channel you want to join and hit 'Switch to channel'.

You can change this behaviour in the configuration dialog. The option 'Quick Switch' allows you to switch channels without hitting 'Switch to channel' each time.

So if you're more comfortable this way, just enable it.
