You can set up and configure your own TeamSpeak 3 server with absolutely no licensing costs (limited to 1 virtual server and 32 slots) by following these steps:
- Go to our download page: https://teamspeak.com/en/downloads/#server and download the TS3 server software for your respective operating system.
- Extract the downloaded file and place the server folder on target location on your hard drive.
- Ensure that port 9987 UDP (our default port for Voice) is forwarded in your router.
- Execute the the ts3server binary. This needs you to read & agree the license agreement (see more details your console on Linux and MacOS).
Once you have installed and configured your TS3 server, provide your TS3 server info to any friend or clan/guild member that you want to connect to your server. Point them to our download page (https://teamspeak.com/downloads) to download and install the TeamSpeak 3 client, if they don’t already have it.
